Small GroupsSmall Group counseling provides a supportive environment where students can explore their ideas and feelings about certain topics with their peers in a confidential setting. These are short term (about 6 weeks) and usually comprise of 5-6 students. Students may express interest in a particular topic or be nominated by a parent or teacher to participate. The method of counseling will be goal-oriented and aimed at helping students enhance and develop coping skills based on a variety of issues. Group topics could cover self-esteem, friendship, school success, anger, grief & loss, and divorce.
